The Last Nawab of Indian Cricket

The first test match I watched was in Jan 1975 at Chepauk when India beat West Indies. The manner in which Pataudi marshalled his resources and made the field placements is still vivid in my memory and definitely he is the greatest captain India ever produced. I have seen him many a time at the Lal Bahadur stadium playing Moin Ud Doulah Cricket tournament and was ah struck by his style, demeanor and personality. He is the only “NAWAB” I have really seen and experienced.
